About

Beatrice de Trenqualye is a UK-based composer for film, television, and video-games. Her recent credits include the student BAFTA long-listed short film Weekend One, directed by Mykea Perry, and the student BAFTA long-listed video-game Boarberry Farm.

She also composed the music for Beam Me Up, starring Nigel Betts (Doctor Who, Downton Abbey, Emmerdale) and Anita Dobson (East Enders); Seeing Re(a)d, winner of Best Team Project at Gamebridge 2024; Lacuna, starring Sadie Soverall (Saltburn); and A Hole With A View, which was nominated for a Jackson Wild Media Award in 2024, and a Royal Television Society Student Award in 2025.

Before beginning her career as a composer, Beatrice trained as a concert pianist. She holds a master’s degree in piano performance from McGill University in Montreal. She later trained in composition at the National Film and Television School, where she recently graduated.
